Jashaun Augusto. This kid is really good at basketball and he's really effing fast. A lot of times you'll hear about a kid who is absolutely incredible at a young age but then you never hear from them again. Other times Tiger Woods happens. My Favorite Skateboard Video and Hamster Stuck in a Videogame

This is a skate video that anyone can enjoy. William Spencer has been one of my favorite skateboarders for a while and it all has to do with this video. It is so good that MTV signed him for his own TV show. Right off the heels of Rodney Mullen, Spencer takes a different direction with his skateboarding style which can appeal to anyone. He's creative and original. Back in the days of Darkside Skate Crew (and Shaggy Boyles), I would have loved to see this video for inspiration.

First Post! Looooong Homemade Waterslide

The creation of this blog was inspired by an article I read about how computers and other electronic devices are causing us to become a society of time wasters. This observation is funny when coupled with how poor the economy has been as of late. Here is a quote from the article that summarizes my point succinctly:

'Even the beeps notifying the arrival of email are said to be causing a 0.5 per cent drop in gross domestic product in the United States, costing the economy $70bn a year.'

That being said, lets start with the first post! It is a video from some dudes who built a giant slide at their lake house. It has been claimed that this slide is 100 yards long making it the longest home made slide ever.

If anyone wants to build a slide similar to this this please let me know (Brad, I'm looking at you, maybe on the camping trip). It looks like sooooo much fun. Needs a better camera guy though...
